A Namco and Ubisoft area would be nice (even if "general game companies" forum would exist), for the sake of organization and new topics. An "ETC" area for the Nintendo Forums would be nice, too (for everything etc.). Podcast, as said earlier is also nice.

^ Games/companies that aren't specific to Nintendo, Playstation, Xbox or PC fall within General Gaming or Retro Games. (There even used to be a Capcom subforum up until not too long ago, but that got hardly any activity and was merged with General Gaming.) Any Nintendo discussion that doesn't fall under Mario, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid or Smash fits in Nintendo Main. The problem with having a lot of specialized boards is that unless the subject is popular enough, they unfortunately won't host much activity if any at all. But Nintendo Main, General Gaming and Retro Games are broad enough to cover anything that won't fit anywhere else.

So if I wanted to get the ball rolling on merging podcasts into the music forum, what should I do? Post a Poll to gauge how the regulars feel? Pester staff members incessantly?

It was a difficult negotiation and Panfan required many sub-clauses, but we cheerily announce with gusto and enthusiasm that Panfan has formally adopted "Podcasts" into the Music Forum. HIPHIPHOORAY!!!!
