My Nintendo switch is behind nothing...because if it's blocked by anything the controllers don't work properly. My wireless GameCube controllers worked better than the joy-con.

I thought it was hilarious when I looked up what to do when your always getting interference and this is what it said.
2. Ensure that the Nintendo Switch console is placed to minimize interference with the Joy-Con. It is best if the Nintendo Switch console is placed out in the open and that it is not:

Behind a TV (Moved it directly below tv)
Near an aquarium (Well my 45 Gallon tank is going nowhere so that's a bust.)
Placed in or under a metal object (You mean like a TV or a TV stand?)
Pressed against a large number of wires and cords (should be easy, I only have 10 or 12 things plugged in near it.)
Within three to four feet of another wireless device, such as a wireless speaker or a wireless access point. (Router is 6 inches away.)

So they're pretty much saying if you don't want controller interference, go play in a stone hut in the woods.

Hmmm.

Those are actual issues people have encountered, then?

I've never had much difficulty getting controllers and peripherals to sync up with my 360, my XOne, my Wii/Wii U. It's all pretty straightforward. How could the Switch be more of a problem child than things that came out a decade prior? That seems weird and backward.

Appreciating the wonder that is the Wii U. Since the Switch came out, they're pretty much acting like it never existed.

I mean...have you seen the sales numbers on it? It’s not great.

Yeah, I'm not sure why but if anyone walks in front of me while I'm playing on the tv, whether it be my dog or simply me folding my legs in front of the controller I encounter problems. Sometimes there's a delay in a button I press, sometimes it doesn't register at all. This really doesn't happen to anyone else?

Nah, I have my Switch hooked up to my monitor and still have connection issues sometimes even though I can touch the console from where I'm sitting. The inch of plastic in my desk is enough to mess with it from the right angle. Definitely not just you.

I think that was a launch model issue, but y'all can correct me if I'm wrong. Somehow it has never affected me despite many people I know having trouble with it. Either way, I think there were slight hardware revisions in later console runs that perhaps helped with that? If I recall correctly, it was something as simple as a non-essential piece of metal being removed from the inside of the joy-cons.

I was aware of that. I just like to spread my love for the Wii U like nutella.

Their re-releasing of many Wii U games is kind of implicit messaging that they thought the Wii U was good, since they want everyone to experience those games that they missed out on.
