--Instead of a "timer", persay, you instead have a gaping vortex chasing you slowly through the course.
--Other than one pit at the beginning & one electrified wall after that, the vortex is the only hazard.
--Collect balls of light & break blocks to boost your score.

People keep telling me that the "proper" way to get the points in the alcove right before the ending cannon is to wait for the vortex to come along & devour the wall leading into it, but almost every character has an attack that can reach up to trigger the bomb block from underneath, so why wait?

Really glad to see RttF return, but still kinda bummed that it's the only minigame.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

this is probably my least favorite race to the finish in the series, between it being auto-scrolling and lacking any multiple paths like in melee. i guess having collectibles in the course is neat though.

I liked that some of the minigames in Melee were different depending on your character, and while I miss that, I kinda see how that would be hard to do with the Ultimate roster.
we built our house of cards
but it feels like it's still ours...
