Okay. I'm ready to shuffle my life away

Meanwhile, I don't know if I want to torture you Scotty... so I'm not. Go play Nights: Journey of Dreams and see if you like the sequel to Sonic Team's Sega Saturn demo game.

@I am nobody, don't suppose you'd feel like addressing not having included Scotty. It wouldn't take much.

I mean, now that you've usurped my stolen crown and rightfully taken this thread away from me, its rightful wrongful lord-tyrant-usurper, maybe you'd like to apologise to Scotty for forgetting to include him in. This is a gentle forgiving space, you jerk.

I tried to post quickly, saw two lists, assumed two people. Whoops.

Or maybe Scotty was there and his name is just invisible.

Finished one of the DLC campaigns for Muramasa, which is all I'm going to do. I said more in the reviews thread, but basically I love everything about the game except the extraordinarily tedious combat. Unfortunately, there is a lot of said extraordinarily tedious combat.

This is why we still need cheat codes, game devs.

Finished.

It's the Pokemon Trading Card Game. If you like that game you'll like this. If the only thing keeping you from playing trading card games are need to buy endless booster packs then this is a good way to play the base version of the Pokemon TCG. More or less.

^ The DLC campaigns are better at telling a story than the original Muramasa was, so you're not really missing out. Not because it's a bad story, but for most of it you went left to right so other characters can say what's going on rather than show it and you'd just be left wondering why this happened. Art's the best part for sure, though I never saw the combat as very tedious, just really easy for most of it. You can button mash your way through but there are a smattering of enemies that will explode and punish you for not paying attention. You'd be hard pressed to understand how combat is even supposed to work as a result as it seems to want you jumping all over the place but you'll also lose track of enemies doing that. It's... okay, really. I could think of better games to go back to really.

Ugh.

Why am I so bad at trying to play video games nowadays?

Once again - didn't even touch it. I'd like to think that if I didn't have to go cross country for several days then I'd have gotten to it.

I've also been in a weird mood lately. I still want to play a new round though.

We've got to make a new thread, yeah?

We've got until the end of the page, right? 10 posts is probably enough to at least figure out who's playing.

I'm in, but it'll probably have to be with something under 5 hours. The new release schedule this month is crazy.

*shrug*
Guess I'll waste all my free time again.
  • Blood- Moving from Doom to another old FPS. Maybe it'll be good.
  • Megaman X1-6- F**k it. Play all of them. I'm gonna play X6 and get mad about it.
  • Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze- I heard this game is great and Returns was great.
  • Cloudbuilt- No real idea how this will go, but the few first levels I played were good.
  • Sky Blazer- A game I grew up on. We'll see if it's as amazing as I remember. I mean, it's Mode 7 as hell, but aside that.
  • Titanfall 2- Yeah, I saw this whole campaign but it was good so I want to play it.
  • Deadpool- Average to good game from what I've heard. But I got it for cheap so okay.
  • Punch Out (Wii)- Je suis Glass Joe. Ha HA!
  • Mighty Switch Force- Let's arrest people stuck on platforms.
  • Legend of Zelda 1- *shrug* Time to put my money where my mouth is.
Enjoy.

All right, I'll jump back into this and also copy Tazy's game list structure.
  • Left 4 Dead 2 - I played all the vanilla levels, but haven't started on the rest, which is like another half of the game.
  • Half Life 2: Lost Coast - One of the first games I ever picked up on Steam. I know it's particularly short but ah well.
  • Cave Story + - Need to finish a Hard Mode playthrough for STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS.
  • Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight - Yeah I never ended up even starting this last round I was in, but I'm still down for playing it if it's picked.
  • Kero Blaster - Haven't played this yet, but I enjoyed Cave Story a lot so I imagine this will be fun too.
  • Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut - Another one I haven't played, but am very interested in.
  • Jet Set Radio - Picked this up a while ago on Steam, and I remember loving it on the Dreamcast.
  • Surgeon Simulator - I got through the game's initial content, and technically beat it, but there's a good deal more to do in it before it's all done.
  • Saint's Row 2 - Another one that was picked for me in these contests. I started it but never really got around to beating it.

  • Transistor - Played it once the year it came out and loved it, but I never went back for NG+. I'll probably keep that streak alive and start from scratch.
  • Analogue: A Hate Story - I think it'll probably hold up, but I'd have told you the same about Infinite's story. Can't trust myself before a few years ago, apparently.
  • To the Moon - Not actually much doubt here since Finding Paradise made last year's top 5, but I'll take an excuse to play it again.
  • Memoria - Also way before I could judge writing. Not normally under 5 hours, but I'll cheat the dumb adventure game puzzles even more than I did the first time.
  • Anodyne - Already got burned revisiting one 2D Zelda-like in Ittle Dew. Surely this will go better!
  • Spec Ops: The Line - Probably still good?

@ScottyMcGee Are you re-using your last list?

Xenoblade Chronicles
Arc Rise Fantasia
Metroid: Other M
Nights: Journey of Dreams
Kirby's Dream Collection (I believe I have Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3 left)
