Trivia:
--People from all over the world could submit suggestions on which character they wanted to see added to Smash 4 until October 2015.
--Bayonetta came in 1st in the European vote and in the top 5 of the North American vote, making her the highest-placing valid character & leading to her DLC being developed shortly afterwards.
--Only characters who originated in video games were considered. Further filtering was applied based on practicality; a Microsoft- or Sony-owned character would never happen, for example, but a totally 3rd-party character could be considered. (Bayo is technically 2nd-party now, since Nintendo themselves distributed her 2nd game.)

I like Shrek, too, but seriously, people.
