Also a fun fact, this is the third year in a row the NFC North has sent two teams to the playoffs. 2015: Green Bay & Detroit, 2016: Green Bay & Minnesota, 2017: Green Bay Detroit.
Also coincidentally the third year we've done this.

Lions over Seahawks
Giants over Packers
Dolphins over Steelers
Texans over Raiders

Cowboys over Lions
Falcons over Giants
Patriots over Dolphins
Chiefs over Texans

Falcons over Cowboys
Chiefs over Patriots

Chiefs over Falcons

I would really love to see a Falcons vs. Chiefs Superbowl, man, but I just don't see it happening. :(

There's a very good chance I will never see the Bills have a quarterback even a fraction as good as Aaron Rodgers, and that makes me really sad.

idk if I said this in this thread already, but I think it's insane that the Bills are thinking of moving on from Tyrod.

On the one hand, yes he helps the running offense. Yes, he protects the football. Yes, he has been better than anything the Bills have had over the last 16 years.

On the other hand, the Bills passing offense has been dead last the last two years. He does not throw the ball over the middle. His deep ball regressed from last year. He has thrown over 300 yards once in two seasons. And he's not at all clutch. Having watched him every game for over two years, he has had all of one game winning drive in the final two minutes in like, 7 or eight tries.

It's a QB driven league. Look all the QBs from the AFC who have started in the Superbowl since 2003:

2003 - Tom Brady
2004 - Tom Brady
2005 - Ben Rothlisberger
2006 - Peyton Manning
2007 - Tom Brady
2008 - Ben Rothlisberger
2009 - Peyton Manning
2010 - Ben Rothlisberger
2011 - Tom Brady
2012 - Joe Flacco (wut?)
2013 - Peyton Manning
2014 - Tom Brady
2015 - Peyton Manning
2016 - Tom Brady/Ben Rothlisberger

With the exception of Joe Flacco, its been the same three guys in the Superbowl for the last 13 years. And to think that Joe Flacco's former backup is going to get there is pretty far fetched. I can only hope the Bills finally decided that they need to start looking for a real QB instead of continually relying on other teams castoffs most of the time (Bledsoe, Holcomb, Brohm, Fitzpatrick, Orton, Kolb, Cassel, Taylor).

While Tyrod is okay as a starter, the fact is he really just isn't good enough. Basically the prevailing thought around here is he is the best backup in the league, and someone is going to pay him to be a starter, but he's not going to win you many games by himself.

That all makes sense, I hadn't looked at it from that perspective. But still, with the dearth of quality QB's in the NFL right now, I thought Tyrod could be developed into something. Oh well.

He's been in the league for 6 years already. There's a decent chance he is who he's going to be already.

And I've been thinking the same thing for the last few years. The quality of QBs coming out of college are rapid declining and the NFL is going to have a really, really bad QB problem soon. As if finding a QB wasn't hard enough. The problem is, you still need one.
