I bought it and played it for a while over the past month or two. Haven't touched it recently though. It was addicting for a time, but not too long. I have a pretty sweet castle on a giant cliff with a lava waterfall for defense, but I got a little jaded when I realized how simple and crappy fluid mechanics are. Originally I wanted to have a sloped moat with a reservoir and a release mechanism so I could gather all the baddies into it, then flood the moat and wash them over the cliff. But water flows too slowly and I can't figure out how to release water via a lever-- it doesn't go through open doors, which would be the logical way. (I think there is a way but I haven't figured it out.)
I also wanted to build a railroad between my giant system of outposts and castles, but I can't find enough damn iron even for the initial track, certainly not for extra boosters and crap. And it'd be pretty slow without boosters, I have a lot of ground to cover.
And yeah, **** those green dudes. Apparently they're called "Creepers," which amuses me.
