Animated avatars?

Looks like ol' Horsehead might be making a comeback

(btw. Will the URL eventually become just "vgf.com/forums" or should I update my bookmarks?

...it looks like I should clear my PMs. Other than that, everything seems good!

...Huh. It won't show past page 1 of old messages, so I /can't/ clear them. O_O

EDIT: Oh yeah, meant to ask whether changing PDNs will still be a thing. Meant this PDN to be (somewhat) temporary.

Yeah, I was deleting old messages in my inbox earlier and now it's only showing me the most recent seven messages, despite it saying there are 1943 more.

1943. A good vintage, finely aged.

I don't think it's intended that I'm able to switch my usergroup from the Profile page

Looks like you can only change to usergroups you're part of, at least.

There does not appear to be a functioning blog extension for this version. Doesn't seem it's easily bridgeable to a blog platform either. This does not necessarily mean it's never an option, but for now I don't see anything. I suppose it would be possible to install an unbridged Wordpress blog and allow you or whoever else wants to be an author and then bridge it if that becomes an option.

I have not decided on the directory structure yet. I don't intend to change to the phpBB3 url. I'm considering either dumping the forums on the index page or keeping vgf.com/forums and keeping the index open for something else, specifically at this time the Board3 portal.

That's why I was asking. I can't clear any more than the first page. I believe the solution on PMs may end up being to clear them all and start over.

Should be no benefit or difference in changing the usergroups since you inherit all of the permissions.

Since you can just tab to the next page of topics, the recent topics actually seems perfectly functional.

Deleted private messages. Should restore the intended functionality.

Sure, no pressure! I just wanted to make sure it was still a thing. :3

e: Sorry, one more request/question--is multiquote able to be a thing? I used it a lot. =)

Old forums should be up for about another week and a half or so.

A like extension is in development, but that could mean next month or two years.

Multiquote is not yet available in this version.

Definitely missing being able to shortcut italics and bold, but that's probably hopeless for this platform since they're using a plaintext editor.

That is available in the full editor, but yes the quick editor is simple. That said, the same extension that offers multiquote or at least something similar also offers this, but it's only available in 3.1 (beta for 3.2 just came out).

I don't suppose there's a way to archive PMs on XenForo, is there? I have hundreds of old messages and I was wondering if there was an easier way to save the valuable ones than copying and pasting.

^^Is it not ctrl+i/b? I tried it in the full editor on Chrome and didn't get anything.
