My sister got me Yarn Yoshi and Splatoon. Now I don't have an excuse to not be playing video games.
Everyone go follow Boo so Blizzard finally lets them make a sequel. :(
Man. One could wish.

Kind of think 'Metal Arms' fell into the unfortunate "wrong place at the wrong time" area. I mean, the first 'Ratchet & Clank' dropped most of a year before, and Glitch looks quite a lot like Clank. Like, I don't care to speculate, but there had to be the appearance of ripping off, whether that was the intent or not.

Any rate, if one wants to support the official release, don't know there's any means outside of digital distribution these days. I know you can get it through XBLA (no idea about PSN or Nintendo's online store, or Steam, for that matter). My own copy of 'Metal Arms' I acquired used through some third-party retailer c/o Amazon---------can't imagine the transaction benefitted a single person connected to the game's initial release.

There was a campaign for the designer to buy the rights, but Blizzard wouldn't sell for whatever reason. Heard the old devs were considering crowd funding.

Most likely going to be Fallout 4 using the $50 gift card we got at work for the shopping pavilion. I would assume at least Gamestop would have the dumb boxes with codes for the PC version.

Or otherwise I can keep skipping that and get a Steam card because STEAM SALES

80 Days and Read Only Memories from direct gifts and Why am I Dead at Sea, Shadowrun: Hong Kong, Reveal the Deep, Steam and Metal, Castle in the Darkness, Shipwreck, The Beginner's Guide, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Crusader Kings II from a $50 gift card my aunt gave me. Probably using some of the money my grandparents gave me and a gift card from my uncle to get Summon Night 5 and Trails of Cold Steel on Vita sometime in the next few weeks.

Now to catch up on lower-profile 2015 all at once.

So. No PS1 games this time. (*gasps of horror and consternation*) Settled for a couple ACs ('Black Flag' and 'Rogue' in particular). 'Aliens: Colonial Marines'. 'Spooky's Grand Adventure'. Most recent Adventure Time game.

^^ Summon Night seems interesting if only because it's a TRPG. Vita doesn't have many good ones so it's nice to see a new game in the genre for it.

I'm going through Cold Steel first, so I can't say much beyond that the first 15 minutes were decent enough and the spinoffs I've played (particularly Swordcraft Story - ultimate sleeper of the GBA right there) have been pretty good, so I'd be surprised if it was disappointing.

Can't say the same for The Beginner's Guide, alas, but at least everything else from that batch has been up to par.

G.G Series NINJA KARAKURI DEN. It's neat for a cheap digital game.

A bunch of PS2 and PS1 games. I'm especially excited about Digimon World and God of War.

I got Bravely Default on the Epiphany (yeah, my mom likes to celebrate the Epiphany, or "Three Wise Men's Day" as she calls it) and when the character Ringabel appeared, my inner Andy Dwyer, for just a split second, went, "A VGF MEMBER IS IN THIS??????????---oh-----wait---ha, this is just where the name Ringabel came from."

I got more PS1 games. 'Descent' (long box!), 'Jungle Book Rhythm 'N' Groove', 'Grand Theft Auto Director's Cut', 'The Italian Job', and 'Colony Wars: Red Sun'.

Also 'Space Channel 5' (PS2). And a new copy of 'Toy Commander' (DC)-------no idea what happened to my old one.

Some finkelstien ran off with my original copy of 'Mario Golf' about ten years back, and I finally got a replacement.

...my short game needs work. I finished the Koopa Tour at -8, and the first mini-golf course at +6. Mildly unimpressive.

^ Is it Dragon Ball Fusion? Seems fun but it's got s lot of dumb censorship that ruins it.

I got Adventure Time: The Nameless Kingdom for 99¢. It's difficult.
