Portal, Portal 2
Have you ever played them before? Have you played them now? I hope the excess hype, the endless praise, the sheer meme overload won't have made either one disappointing to you. I'd imagine you can't but have had some things spoiled.

My copy of TTYD has long since arrived. The case was beyond gross. I don't know what the hell people do with their lives where it's evidently appropriate to eat Jello pudding off your game cases, or let Old Suey deliver a litter of piglets onto them. I generally use them just for storing games in, but evidently when you're a lobster-boy everything's a claw to you. Ughh.

Everything else is fine, though. Cover art's fine, manual's fine, game disc looks like it was owned by a little old lady who only drove it to church on Sundays.

In order: No, yes, no, and the only thing I've had spoiled for me is "The cake is a lie," but I had imagined a completely different context for that line.

Cool. I mean, that's pretty much as good as one can hope for----------speaking for myself, only thing got spoilt for me was 'Still Alive', but, taken out of context, all that is is a cute goofy little song, right? Glad you had fun with them, at any rate.

Saw a copy of 'Beyond Good & Evil' (PS2) at Half-Price Books for seven bucks. It's in nice shape------no scratches.

I got a new SNES game. Like, a new one. It came out this year. 'Unholy Night: The Darkness Hunter'. It's pretty good.

I picked up Final Fantasy XV recently, it's been incredibly good thus far.

Tales of phantasia for PSX which I'm absolutely loving, and Clock Tower first fear PSX which I'm on the fence about. On one hand, the art style is neat for a horror game and the villain is interesting, but on the other it's relying on silence way too much, the interface is clunky with the psx controller, and the story is just awful. It's too bad, I was really curious about this one.

Tales of phantasia is great, not perfect but very good. The story is simple but still has its heart felt moments which I won't spoil. The gameplay is really neat, it makes you feel like your doing something, instead of telling somebody else to do something. I haven't had to grind *yet* which was my biggest issue with final fantasy. It does have its flaws however, but it's mostly trivial stuff like how the game gives you literally no reason to switch characters since Mint can't attack and Chester only really works as support. I would just stick with Cless, if I were you.

Grabbed Final Fantasy XIV to try out the demo up to level 35. It's all right so far, but I'm not sure if I'm sold on plopping down a monthly fee for it yet.

I got a Japanese copy of Yokai Watch for $7.50. Not sure how they managed that - it's still shrink-wrapped and the used copies I saw in Japan were more expensive. Maybe the 3DS having region-lock stole all their customers. *shrug*

Finally found the reasonably-priced PS2 and GBA I'd been after for years recently as well.

Swap shop had some good swag this time. 'Tomb Raider III' (PS1), 'Die Hard Arcade' (PS1), 'Speed Racer' (PS1), 'Silent Hill 2' (PS2), and 'Art of Fighting Anthology' (PS2).

Also got 'Guitar Hero Live' (X360) new for twenty bux at GameStop. Evidently rhythm gaming died again or something (like who knew that would happen).

I'm sure I will. I already loved the story from how it was presented in the manga, plus the OST is jammin.
