^ I had that game on a PS1 demo disk way back when, and I played it constantly.

Einhänder was on that disk too. Another great game nobody ever talks about.

^^ Tomba seems fun but I got stuck early on and quit. Might go back to it eventually. Kinda reminds me of Klonoa.

It's absolutely worth it, yes, the full game is absolutely worth it.

I never played Tomba! but I've wanted to for some time. Doesn't seem to be available for download on PS4 unfortunately.

^ Just PS3 & Vita (maybe PSP). I think the sequel is available on them too.

The sequel is, unfortunately, severely reduced in quality compared to the first game. 3D definitely didn't help the aesthetics. The only improvement is that boss battles are much more interesting than the original. It's still kind of worthwhile if you enjoyed the first game.

Could maybe throw Halo Reach in the mix? It's actually my fav Halo game, but I guess because it's not part of the Master Chief story, it gets somewhat forgotten :/ I love the final stage...simply fighting to stay alive :(

The Witch's House, an absolutely amazing horror game that was done in RPG maker for some reason? Seriously, the plot twist at the end blew my **** mind. Please play this, it's like an hour long and deserves all the praise it can get. It also got a really good novel, but it spoils the actual game so play it first.

It's more puzzle oriented, and none of the puzzles are particularly tricky. Just remember to check the dresser before leaving the house.

When Transformers Devastation was first announced I was skeptical. Platinum's Korra game got middling reviews and I wasn't too familiar with the Transformers series. Then the first gameplay trailer came out, and I saw that you could turn into a car at the end of a combo and smash into enemies. I was in Day 1 after that, and I was not let down. Excellent combat mechanics and fantastic music resulted in one of my favorite games of 2015. (It would have been #1, but I gave the edge to Bloodborne's fantastic setting and lore) It has some wrinkles like stale level design and a weapon loot system that can make the game significantly easier on the hardest difficulty, but overall it's a great game for everyone who enjoys action games. Sadly, due to licensing it is no longer available on digital storefronts.
