Do you believe in Cryptids?

For everything and anything that goes "bump" in the night or is unexplained.

Do you believe in Cryptids like Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster? I personally do not, but am open-minded on the subject.

I kind of do, in terms of sea monsters, only because we really haven't discovered much of the sea. You never really know what's down there.

Back in the day, there were animals we know about now that we thought were cryptids. Such as gorillas, platypus, okapi and komodo dragons.

I'm mostly in the same boat as Scotty on this one.

There are almost definitely weird creatures we haven't found, but they're almost definitely not Mothman and Bigfoot.

I don't believe in them, but I find them interesting. Actually had a nice discussion yesterday about the Wendigo with a friend who's more versed in this stuff than me.

Sea monsters could definitely be possible, since we barely know anything about the ocean.

Some of them, sure. Others, I would really like to believe in (the mysteries are too good to dismiss outright). ;)
Nonsense, I have not yet begun to defile myself.

Being from New Jersey, I always hoped the Jersey Devil would be real. I've read so much on it. Even though it's probably an urban legend that stemmed from a bastard child between two families, I thought it's intriguing how the Lene Lenape called this area Popuessing, which is "the place of the dragon." And the Dutch that traveled here to trade in the early days also called it "Drake Kill."
