An actual SMM sequel would probably be preferable. If not...

^You're right, a full-fledged sequel would be much better. I can't imagine that not happening, since Mario Maker was one of the more successful Wii U games.

I wouldn't be surprised if a port was intially planned but turned into a sequel. 2018 is pretty late for a port.

I feel bad that I haven't been keeping up with SMM. I've just been losing interest in video games in general.

I'd probably sink some money into a sequel if one came out, though.
