Oh well hello there!
I didn't know how to do this really, but I also didn't want to just slide into threads like I'm totally not a new guy...
I used to be really active on Video Game forums in the past, but I sort of fell out of it in college. I was really wanting to get back into it, but I couldn't find a that didn't seem either too big or too small. Well give me porridge and call me Goldilocks, because this one seems just right.
Let's see, a little introduction for me: I don't really have a gaming PC as much as a laptop with a broken screen and no left shift key. As a result, most of my games are on my PS4 or my Wii U. Thankfully I don't feel like I've missed out on that much in regards to my personal taste (although I am saving up for a Switch)-- the games I would want to play that aren't on the PS4 or Wii U are mostly just older games that aren't on those systems' respective Virtual Console thingies, and I've kept all of my old systems.
My favorite kinds of games are always going to be older, weird PS2 or GC RPGs, but I try to keep up with the times. I just finally completed Getting Over It with Bennett Foddy, for example!
I don't really know how to end this. Bye! Hello!
P.S. I don't really know how to make an avatar

Jesus, you actually finished Getting Over It? You're more into games then I am then, because hoo boy that game seems like a lesson in pain and short bursts of piano music.
You need to be around and post a bit before you can get an avatar, from what I remember. Not quite certain on the specifics. Other than that, welcome to the forums!

VGF is an interesting community nowadays because its small but active. Like one of those tiny towns in the middle of nowhere with 5 churches and no police department.
But hey, welcome back to our hellhole! Nice to see a new face every now and then.

Oh it definitely was and still is, which is why I had to finish it. It took me about a month, just slowly chipping away at that "mountain", but I think that's why it's such a satisfying experience when it's finally over. The Amazing Tazy Ten wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 5:49 amJesus, you actually finished Getting Over It? Hello, friend.
You like weird old PS2 RPGs? Ever heard of 'Metal Saga', or 'Steambot Chronicles'? Them things are nutzoid.

Re: Oh well hello there!
Steambot Chronicles is actually the one that came to mind when I was writing that sentence. That and Okage: Shadow King, and Dual Hearts. I'm also predictably a sucker for any Atlus creation.Booyakasha wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 4:46 pmHello, friend.

I've actually never played Metal Saga, but I'm definitely going to take that as a recommendation and look into it

Thank you! For the welcome and the marshmallows!Heroine of the Dragon wrote: ↑Sun Jul 22, 2018 8:00 pmHello and welcome to our special blend of madness... *gives you marshmallows* I'm sure you'll fit in just wonderfully!!![]()

Getting over it is an accurate representation of how 2018 is going. Congrats on the big win. Welcome!
