PDN changes

#1

Post by Shane » Sat Jan 21, 2006 10:29 pm

I am able to modify your PDN. None of the fields in your profile actually do anything to change it. Since this is a manual process and changing your PDN actually means changing your username, I am unlikely to do this regularly, so I'd suggest picking one you're willing to stick with for a while.

Note: after your PDN is changed, you must login with that new name, not your existing one.
Now I know there's a reason you shouldn't blame others when you do something wrong, and that reason is: you might get caught and have to apologize to a bunch of dumb peasants.

Can you just make mine Marilink? I'm feeling unoriginal today.

That's strange, most forums I know these days offer that as an option to users, some of which allow all users to do it (regardless of the inherent bandwidth waste).

Any way it could ever be hacked back? Near-seasonal allowances to change PDN weren't all that great, but it's annoying to lose features... (See: Loss of stars and Karma that was permanent)
Super Smash Quest: Fighting evil since 2002.

I'd be surprised if it can't be hacked. I'm not going to worry about it for now.

"Nomytaker" for Me

Also I have a request from Whelp the Dragon, if you can change his name from Autobot to Whelp the Dragon. (I think Autobot is all in lowercase.)

Er, I don't think Shane really wants to be bothered with requests from people who don't even visit the forums.
