He's winning because more people recognize his name.

I'm actually concerned that he might still have a decent shot in third party. Again, given his name he might still resonate more than everyone else.

And that scares me. The absolute worst thing about voting is when people just vote for the name they recognize and not see who's actually running.

i don't think he has a chance if he runs third party even with his high profile. i think too many americans just vote the party line for that to matter. if anything him running third party would probably split him and the republican candidate and lead to a bigger democrat win

"If NBC is so weak and so foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court."
I agree with him, it is a problem. I guess speaking the truth pisses people off, who knew.

Doesn't really matter if it's true or not when everyone else is trying to keep their noses as clean as possible. Slam ANYONE during a run for presidency and you're going down big time. It's like when Romney said that anyone voting for Obama weren't real Americans. There's a lot of people who identify and live with people who voted for Obama. It's a publicity race where good and bad truly matter.

I don't know. Arnold Schwarzenegger got the governor seat by his star power. Plus, let's not forget the Bull Moose Party won by popularity of its candidate as well. Former president or not. I have a right to be afraid.

A look at Trump's business history is enough to argue against him being president.

I think he peaked with his support before the McCain comments. After that he basically killed the Latino and military votes, and even if there were potential voters who hadn't gone his way before then, I don't think there's enough left to win after that.

Which is good, because we have enough ego in government without Trump coming in and making everyone else look impossibly humble and self-aware by comparison.

Trump is getting a lot of media attention because of the things he says but honestly I don't see him being taken seriously come election time.
