Wikipedia]To Far Away Times: Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross Arrangement Album On a live performance at the Tokyo Dome in July 2015 commemorating the 20 year anniversary of Chrono Trigger wrote:Chrono series arrangement album, entitled To Far Away Times: Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross Arrangement Album would be released. This was eventually released by Square Enix Music on October 14, 2015.
This one is my favorite from the series. How about yours? Some of these are significantly different but not like Chrono Trigger Arranged Version: The Brink of Time.

gotta say, I just don't really like when video game music is given lyrics unless it was written with lyrics originally. The instrumental ones are great though.

^ Lyrics aren't a dealbreaker for me but I would prefer not to have them as well.

I'm sort of in agreement with you there, Little Dude. The few selections I did listen to that had lyrics were kind of meh. I might have to give them another listen, though.

why does every CT arrangement album deem it necessary to give Lyrics to To Far Away Times? Chrono Symphonic did that, too. blegh.

I know, right? IMO, this arrangement of "To Far Away Times" compares to no other. I really wish I knew where it was from. despite what the image on the vid is, it's apparently not where the track is from--otherwise I wouldn't be wondering

If only it weren't transposed  [DOUBLEPOST=1445998539,1445998196][/DOUBLEPOST]I like this one a whole lot. Not the highest quality (in that you can tell that the violins are pretty fake), but it's still very good and I appreciate that it's in the original key.

I wish that transposition didn't bother me so much, but it does. Sometimes a good sense of pitch can be a curse.

I like the arrangement enough that the transposition doesn't bother me. I do know what you mean though.

I know this topic is old, but I can't really resist the urge to post a version myself. Those two were really good, and I know of at least one more that I also really like. It came on shuffle on my iPod at one point when I was driving, and I haven't been able to find it in my collection since. In any case, here is the other one I came across.

Looking at the video information from that user's other videos, it seems they're a Japanese fan arranger. Unless I'm mistaken, it doesn't seem like they're officially affiliated with Square Enix or Yasunori Mitsuda. Their playlist has a bunch of arrangements from games like Xenogears, Lunar, Arc the Lad, Lufia 2, Breath of Fire, Terranigma, etc.
