Your Favourite Two Movie Genres

Post by Heroine of the Dragon » Tue Aug 22, 2017 3:35 am

Listed the top 10 (as per one site's opinion :p), so which did you choose? If your favourites weren't listed, what genres do you prefer? :D

...I don't really have a preferred genre, to be honest. I like anything that's good, and all genres can yield good stuff, as well as total garbage. (Pretty much my stance on all media, to be honest.)

I'd have to go with Action and Animation. Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc.

I don't usually watch movies these days, but when I do, I prefer animation.

I've never been much of a movie person, but it's really a tossup between fantasy, animation, and comedy.

Always bugs me that animation is considered its own genre even though all other genres listed can be presented in an animated medium. Like HotD said though this is one site's interpretation and they're often presented that way.

My favorite movies are fantasy animation, so I selected those categories. Which reminds me, I need to buy the Kubo DVD and rewatch that ****.

I watch mostly animated movies these days. Although, ESSDEE has promised to take me to the next Doom-y-Doom movie coming out this year!! :D

This.

Though if "Martial Arts" and "Pretentious Artsy Crap" were listed, I'd probably have voted for them.

I'm not really sure I have a favorite genre. All of my favorites are in different categories. I picked drama and action because I feel like that covers most things. Out of the ones you listed, I just don't like war movies. Though I liked Dunkirk so idk.
