This is one of the many live proofs that Miyamoto-san and Iwata-san were closer than PB&J. And we didn't even talk about Itoi!!!

yes yes yes yes yes

YES.

I was gonna post this eventually but this silly wedding got in the way.

This was the first game I ever finished so hearing it always pulls strings at my hearts. This was the first end credits music I got to hear. I don't think anyone can make a remix or revamp this any better; the original will always stand strong.

I like just about all the songs in the Yoshi series, but I do like this one the most:

Super Mario Maker has reminded me how much I love this track.

Honestly the DS game wasn't too bad except the music was really subpar.

Which one, the T&G or the Yoshi's Island DS? I honestly like YI: DS, they shoud make a sequel with non-Mario Nintendo characters (like Ness, Samus, Duck Hunt Puppy, Fox, Link, Tom Nook, etc.).

I meant Yoshi's Island DS. It's a lovely game, but again, the music didn't really live up to the expectations set by the first game.

I don't think a 'baby Samus' would really go up my alley but I guess if Nintendo ever runs out of ideas that wouldn't be the worst thing they could do.

^ Yeah, just giving examples, but... yeah. Baby Samus would be wierd. Toddler Samus is better. The bosses could be bosses from the character's games (Giegue for Ness; Pre-School Ganondorf for Link; Toddler Wolf, Toddler Shears or Young Adult Andross for Fox; maybe even Toddler Sharpclaw for Krystal, Young Carpainter for Paula and a Ridley for Samus, if a girl edition could be launched).
And yeah. The DS's edition of music wasn't the best thing out there. Or better: almost all remakes and sequels made around the mid-2000's aren't as epic as the "real thing".

This track that plays during the credits to Dark Souls (which, as some of you may be aware of, is a game I rather like a lot very much A WHOLE BUNCH) is probably one of the most interesting experiences I've had with a credits sequence... By the end of the game, if you've properly leveled and learned how to parry, you simply walk in, wap your shield against a flaming sword, basically fart in Gwyn's eyes and boom, fire linked, age of fire renewed, DARK SOULS CONQUERED WOOOOO. But there's something that feels... off... about that. And the reason is simple: Dark Souls pushes the concept of pointless cycles on you. It hides it under promises of hope, but in reality, it presents a futile cycle, much like all of the other Soulsborne games. This nameless song plays while you sit back, proud of having conquered the challenge, and hungry for more, and it plays on the mix of emotions that you should be feeling should the game have done its job properly. I personally felt pity for a lot of the characters in the game, and it felt like a chance to reflect the nature of the game's story itself against your own life, in much the way that any great story does. I love it.

Also, of course, basically any Nintendo credits sequence, of course. I can't name a great video game I've played that didn't have a wonderful credits sequence to tie it together. I have wonderful memories of watching that slow scroll in all of the classic Zelda titles.

I love this game, but I saw the bad ending because it's a shooter that never feels like telling you you're not actually supposed to shoot people.

^ That is so true. When we think of epic music, we always think of them, Big N is the first company to pop in our mind. Not a big problem in my opinion, but my objective of this thread was to focus of lesser-known games, which is an objective we are meeting, despite the fact that we currently putted just about 1 credits song for each Nintendo series. Each.

I have no idea if this game is any good, but it's that whole "grass is greener" thing. I can't get it so I want to try it out. :p
