Yoko Shimomura composed most of Street Fighter II's soundtrack. Another reason she's awesome.

We have a reptile called the Moon Snake... it's venomous which is no surprise, but not considered highly dangerous to humans (or hopefully faeries). :D
She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

Happiest faerie of VGF.

We've already got the word "food" for that.

While Tom Sawyer was an amalgam of several different real-world people, Huck Finn, Becky Thatcher, & Injun Joe were each based on specific individuals. Joe in particular was based on a guy who really was nicknamed "Indian Joe", but he was a friendly guy who contributed a lot to the community & never forgave Twain for making him the villain of the book.

Today I learned how to re-connect a severed LED wire to its power source. Because my stupid LED wire in my blue sword for Lloyd decided to sever at the power source after I had sewed it into 4 layers of vinyl and constructed a hilt around it, making it basically impossible to replace. Thank you based internet tutorials for restoring the glow to my glowy anime sword

The show and titular character "House" was an interpretation of Sherlock Holmes.

House. Home. Holmes.

Plus, you know, the whole deduction and thinking about things super smartly in a way no one else does thing.

I'm a **** idiot.

So I have this book I nabbed from a junk pile that was still in good condition and is signed by the author. Her name is Jackie Collins and the title of the book is Poor Little Bitch Girl. I never read anything by her nor did I ever know she even existed. I simply like to nab things I think could sell at this used bookstore I frequent or on ebay.

I'm watching the original Star Trek series and the actress in the episode "The City on the Edge of Forever" is Joan Collins. When I watched it with my mom she was like, "Oh my God, that's Joan Collins. You remember who she is right?" I just nodded even though I didn't.

Today I figured I'd google Joan Collins. She's still alive and I do recognize her from a couple old movies and other TV shows. I look on the sidebar and see that she has a sibling - Jackie Collins. I click on it wondering if she's the same Jackie Collins and she is - only - she died as recently as 2015.

She's dead, Jim.

Holy **** I learned about Robert E. Murray, CEO of Murray Energy Corporation, and how much of a evil slimeball he is. He is the living caricature of a sleazy oil baron.
