Crazy Dares

Post by Heroine of the Dragon » Sun Jan 20, 2019 11:18 pm

I was chatting with a friend over the weekend, and realise I'm not easily swayed to do crazy stuff... especially if dared to. :p What is the craziest thing you've done because you accepted a dare? Alternatively, what's the craziest dare you've rejected? :D

Hm. I haven't been dared to do anything in a very long time. The most immediate memory is way back in freshman year of college. I was eating with my friends in the cafeteria and someone dared me to go up to some random guy and steal his hat. I got up to do it and instead of stealing his hat made the split second decision to just flick the back of his head and run off. I don't know why I changed my mind suddenly.

In high school, my whole team was dared by some alumni from the previous year to wear rip away clothing with nothing but speedos on for the pep rally when it was time to give my speech. We all did it. We all spent a week cleaning church pews after school and I had to write an essay about public indecency and morality.

It was not worth it looking back. We should have gone full nude.

I don't think I've ever been given any really crazy dates before.

There was one time in first grade when my friend tried to get me to drink a bucket of mud, but that's about it.

No one's ever dared me to do anything particularly ludicrous. I suppose my response would depend on the dare.
I muttered 'light as a board, stiff as a feather' for 2 days straight and now I've ascended, ;aughing at olympus and zeus is crying

A crazy dare? I wouldn't. But if we're talkin' a crazy triple dog dare, then I'd get myself life insurance.

Not many, but the ones I got were crazy. Can't even post them, actually.

...thinking back, I don't believe I've ever been dared to do anything. All my life, all my friends have been Scouting friends. Scouts don't dare-----they compete. 'Hey, I bet I can hit 100 at archery faster than you can!' 'I bet we can saw through this log faster than you can!' ' 'My song at the campfire frigging rules-------I'll be good and goddamned if any of you can step to 'Ravioli'! (That last one was all me, man. All week long, the silly kids were screaming it, and the adult leaders were annoyed at me for creating the monster. I tried to be sympathetic, but inwardly I was cackling myself stupid all the while. Good job trolling, Boo. Thanks, Boo. (*self high-five*))
