Btw, if you want to learn a new language just for the sake of learning a language, I definitely wouldn't recommend an Asian language. They take SO LONG to learn.

I've taken three years' worth of Spanish courses and can barely remember any of it. I really want to learn it since it's becoming a de facto second language around here.

Anyone else always feel conflicted over how to spell shiny? Feels like it needs an "e" to me.

I don't think "shiny" needs an e, but it could probably use a q. Just stick it anywhere.

Is it weird that sometimes when I see the little squiggly line that makes ns pronounce as ys in spanish I think of an episode of scooby doo from ages ago where they point out that's what it does?

Probably. I remember the scene pretty well for whatever reason
