Got a new laptop. It's black and red, which is how you can tell it's for gamers.

Is it an Alienware?
Spoiler.
Does that company even exist anymore?

I hate how obnoxious gaming "culture" (for lack of a better term) can be.

I'd have guessed Origin, but either company probably works.

It's a shame "gamer culture" is essentially synonymous with being a neckbeard.

I had no idea beards play video games and that neckbeards were synonymous with the practice. That might explain why some people play so bad.

Because beards have no eyes, you see.

you don't hear much about neckbeards anymore, i think that concept has become more directed towards the kind of clean-cut hipster gamer that almost seems charming on the surface but then you go to their twitter and they have really dumb yet condescending takes on social issues

I thought hipsters only played indie games. I'm not good at terminology.

yeah but now indie games are big enough that there are hipsters that don't play them

“Indie” is a relatively meaningless term nowadays

DBZF made me kinda ragequit the game, it's got too much focus on offense for my liking. I'm not the type who can play casually. Once they release Broly I'll probably play anyway though.

Yeah, offense in DBFZ is pretty nuts even for a 3v3 game. That said, I only mostly playing because the bad lobby system wore down interest in playing further and getting better.

The online components of DBFZ are probably the worst of literally any fighting game I've ever played, it's poorly implemented and designed. Too bad because the rest is pretty amazing.
