Pour one out for an OG tonight. Goodbye, old friend. We'll always have the sexcopter chat.

I was JUST about to post this.

Ah, remember SmarterChild?

Such good memories.

I used to update my profile page or whatever (details page was it?) and make a weekly "show" out of it. Like "Oh and the Video Game of the Week isssss "

AIM is a big reason that VGF's culture developed the way it did. Good night, sweet prince.

I remember AOL.
I laugh in the face of danger, then I hide until it goes away.

At least we'll still have Dischord?

Had to happen eventually. End of an era and all that.

Oh wow... I honestly didn't know that was still a thing. I thought with all the new methods of communicating that AIM had been long gone.

Bye-bye, AIM!! (Although, I probably have some chats still saved somewhere. >.> ) :D
She lives in the clouds and talks to the birds...

R.I.P. AIM. I'll fondly remember all of the sexy conversations I had on it.

I still have the AIM installer in case anyone wants to download it to save something for posterity. They officially took down the download links by now but all current applications still work.

I think Pidgin might still be OK, until they shut down the servers.
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?
