Thank you both. I've already started getting better before starting to take the medicine they prescribed me, so it's already looking pretty good.

Excellent, glad to hear it.

I just learned that Dan Salvato made Doki Doki Literature Club, and also that that game is absolutely nothing like I thought it was. Which is apparently the point. After learning these two tidbits of info, though, the game has gone from "Automatically skipping this one" to "I should really play this game."

^Yeah. And because Dan Salvato made it, Mew2King's fans also got him to play it, in one of my favorite LPs of it. (e.g. Natsuki says, "Well, I'm not the one whose breasts magically grew a size bigger when [main character] showed up." Mew2King: "Wait, does that happen to girls?" Lol M2K.) Definitely play it. I still can't get this game out of my head and neither can the friend I made play it.

Sorry you've not been feeling well MeowMan! Hope you get well soon and best wishes!

Heheh. Tbh I usually just skip around to the good parts since it's 6-7 hours, and playing it yourself is the only way to get the full experience imo.

Made a thread for DDLC in Computer Gaming because I'm dying to say stuff about this game without having to worry about spoiling it for everyone in WoT, but IDK if anyone else'd be interested in the thread. Has download links and a small FAQ.

I've been debating whether or not to play it sometime. I'm not a big horror guy in the first place and considering my state of mind the past few months I don't know if I should play something with anxiety/depression trigger warnings at the beginning.

^Honestly I was the same way Panfan. I've had unyielding depression for years, and this is actually just the second horror game I've played after Yume Nikki; I just wanted to check out the new meme game all the tumblr kids were playing. I was really worried but it turned out to not be that bad for me. And I think it's not *just* a horror game and i couldn't have known how good it wouldve been, an work of art and a "****." But what I came away from the experience unscathed and mostly positive even, it's not necessarily the same for everyone though. A lot of people have had a cloud of negative emotions hanging over them for days or weeks after playing, but in their case it helps them to discuss the game with others who've played it. if youd like reddit/r/ddlc is a good place for discussion. ddlc.moe has a page to the list of triggers more specific than anxiety/depression..

Jesus Panfan I started typing this post after taking a full ambien to sleep after a night where I got none and the whole time things are bending and tilting and the words are shifting out into the third dimension and sometimes it feels like im' being moved or carried to various places from my bed my bed like a king and sometimes it feels like it's moving on certain tracks and lots of places there's hallucinations or just 'paredoleia" of people everywhere performing actions so if this post turned out badly written / too wordy / too sloppy, i blame that. g'night.

Thanks for the welcome, guys.

I recently saw that AIM was going down on the 15th and got nostalgic, so I hopped on there and said hi to a couple people. I was surprised anyone still used it at all, but I got a response from Wyborn who I hadn't spoken (spoke?) to in a long time, so that was cool. That made me want to check back in here.

Anyone else do the same thing with AIM?

Nah, I just let it die, but it's cool that you caught up with Wyborn. How's he been?

I'm always on AIM, so I'm just going to delete it soon. No problem for me, really.
