So your LCS matchups are KC vs. Baltimore, and St. Louis vs. SanFran. You all know who I'm rooting for in the NL; in the AL, I wouldn't mind seeing KC win. An I-70 Series rematch would be awesome.

A non-Tigers AL Central team, the team that eliminated the Tigers from the playoffs, and the last two teams to beat the Tigers in the WS.

I hope baseball gets cancelled.

I'm fine with either team from the AL winning it all. I don't like either team from the NL.

So finally got to watch the last out of Game 7 (which was harder then hell to find on mlb.com because they didn't have "world series" or "game 7" in the title), and that was one of the lamest celebrations I've ever seen.

It seemed like less of a "HOLY **** WE'RE WORLD **** CHAMPIONS!" and more of a "Yay, we did it again."

I actually don't mind the Giants. Yeah, they drubbed my Redbirds in the NLCS, but they don't seem to have that arrogance you find with teams who have accomplished absolutely nothing (cough Dodgers cough).

Guys, I want to be the next Doc Hamman...
Do you think I could if I follow my dreams?

So, who do the Dodgers trade this offseason: Kemp, Ethier, Crawford, two o' dems, all three or none?

I could see Kemp demanding a trade. He's been pretty insistent on being an everyday center fielder, even though his play in center has declined over the last couple seasons. The Dodgers have a goddamn logjam in the outfield, and I'm amazed they've gotten by for this long without trading someone.

Also, as an AL Central fan, what are your thoughts on the new White Sox signings?

To be completely honest, I don't really pay attention to the off-seasons of other teams.
At this point it would still shock my if the Sox aren't a good team. Even last year it did.

tigers trade for shane greene to potentially be fifth starter after verlander-price-sanchez-porcello

reports are that tigers really want to bring scherzer back

i mean i guess if you don't have a bullpen just sign a bunch of starters

though i could see greene doing what drew smyly did for a while and mainly being there for long relief and the occasional start when people are injured
and that's the waaaaaaaaaay the news goes

The White Sox are following an innovative new strategy of "not signing exclusively relievers with 6 ERAs and expecting them to suddenly be good."

Hopefully this change works out for the better, because the old strategy was about the most frustrating thing in the world to watch.

Not real surprising, but I didn't expect the Padres to give up Yasmani Grandal for him.
