Running
Do you run?
I've been running the treadmill for a long time at least once a week since college. On the treadmill I can manage 3 miles in 25 minutes. This year (and some of last year) I started upping my game by running outside periodically too. I haven't really bothered to time myself yet when I run outside. I just had a nice brisk run today. I enjoy running mostly for how I feel afterwards. After expending that energy, I feel tired but not the type of tired like when you stay up late reading memes. It's this "well-earned" tiredness - if that makes any sense. Everything feels so comfortable afterwards. I also really enjoy how running often gives me more of an appetite. I've noticed that if I don't run as often or not all because I'm busy, my digestion gets sluggish.

I have a stationary bike at home because I'm a recluse.

I did last year. Fell out of the habit when my workload increased.

Re: Running
We have a lot of hiking trails near us, so I do a lot of walking but due to health problems, I don't run them ( running on uneven ground really hurts rn D: )

Re: Running
Running is the only form of exercise I can tolerate, but I still don't do it as often as I should. I have a really hard time making time for it.

I walk. I especially like hiking and bushwalking.

Re: Running
I started a couple years ago as an attempt to get healthy. I ran my first half marathon this year and have lost almost 100 pounds since. So yeah, running is good. Haha.

Re: Running
I don't dig running, the old dodgy leg joints don't appreciate high-impact exercises. I could probably do with something which gives me more cardio workout, though.

Re: Running
I walk and hike when the weather is good enough and I feel well enough. I also have an exercise bike at home.

Re: Running
I don't, though maybe I should. I can see a professional athletic track right out my window, and I hear it's fairly cheap for the public.

Re: Running
Late, but that's hella awesome! Go you!
I've thought about doing marathons but never pay attention to them. I only realize they happened as they're happening. I DO really want to do a marathon sometime before I die. At least once.

Re: Running
I've only done a 5k. Honestly though I'm not a strong distance runner, I'm more of a sprinter.
