I'll just join in/start keeping track from here. So I have a handful of books I've been told to read in advance of my upcoming externship. The first that I've been reading is Orphans of the Living: Stories of America's Children in Foster Care by Jennifer Toth.

In the last like 1.5 weeks I've read the first two how to train your Dragon books, and the first Narnia, I started reading the snowman omg it's intense and I've got hella books on the way :D

Read Where They Stand by Robert W. Merry, a book about the relative rankings of U.S. presidents. It was a pretty good read, though I don't feel his thesis that contemporary voter opinions are the best indicator of a president's future historical standing was fully substantiated. He could very well be right, yet he didn't do much to explain away the disparities between contemporary judgment and later historical ratings.

I'm reading David Wong's recent book, Futuristic Violence and Fancy Suits.

...pretty sure I like it more than either of the JDatE books (not a dis on them------they are two of my favourites). Zoey is a really relatable protagonist, and I think I like her more than John and Dave. We'll see.
