^The cat is female. Also, that's a good point. I knew Mario looked off but I couldn't put my finger on why.

Oh yeah, since I'm back home I may as well post those Mother-esque sprites I said I would.

You're good at emulating sprite styles. Looks straight out of Mother 3.

Drew this today. I've been having fun playing with how I stylise things. I like how this came out - especially the head shape.

Your linework is definitely improving. Maybe it's just my style, but I'd say you could cut back a bit on the clothing folds, or rather, make them more deliberate. They seem kind of random and small, more like the fabric is wrinkled everywhere instead of folding naturally in the places they should be. Comes with practice I guess, I definitely need more myself.

Love the color scheme though. Teal and pink go really well together. Is that one of your characters?

I'll keep that in mind next time I draw her. Usually I'm pretty good about clothing folds. And, it is indeed.

Made a short sprite animation for a friend's character. They wanted their character summoning a sword. I think the animation went fairly smoothly. Maybe I could have had her holding the sword for a few more frames, though.

Here is also a Pidgey demolishing a Fletchling.

^^ Yeah, transition into a battle-ready loop and you'd be set. Could use a little head movement, though. Maybe start with the head tilted back a bit first and bring it right down when the sword comes out.

Also if you could, have her hair bounce a bit between movements. It's little details like that that can really bring animations to life.

The lack of facial features under the helmet is creepy.

If that's what you were going for, you nailed it.

Large file is large. Looks pretty great. The details are all very lovely and I like seeing that you put some effort into making sure things like the rivets were equi-distant. It almost looks Spanish in design.

HEY IT'S BEEN A WHILE, I haven't drawn much in the last eight months, but here's a few recent drawings. If I've been learning anything, though, I've been getting used to quicker shading techniques that feel right to me.

Drew a friend's character for an art trade. Now that I think about it, I never got my half of it. Oops.

It's me, only not a furry this time. Pretty amazing what science can do.

I got bored of Backloggery and dropped it for a while. In the spirit of trying things a second (or third) time, I made a new one and took the Plague Knight username. Then I made this for the banner.

Great colors as always. Looks like your sense of how shadows cast is improving, and so is your highlight placement.

IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND TIME TO DRAW WHEN YOU LIVE IN A SECRET BASE INSIDE SNAKE MOUNTAIN.

DOES THAT MAKE ME A TUNNEL SNAKE?

Been working in larger resolutions lately. Been doing a few art trades over deviantArt for fun.
