I'm with Diego, and with also the rest of humanity---------opossums are disgusting. Like giant sewer-rats, but without the charm.

They hiss at you, you know. They hiss, and raid trash-cans, and they're gross. Right up there with turkey vultures in terms of yuck-factor. One of them crawled over me during ordeal--------ugh.

Send em to Australia, along with the other marsupials and convicts.

I saw an opossum walking around outside my house today so maybe this is an omen

Val summoned it with his comic. Clearly he's some kind of opossomancer. Let us arise as one and slay him for this heresy.

Hey whoa there... we've got to make a trade... how many species of (the big) spiders do you want in trade? :D

Are there any species of giant spider that prey on opossums? We'll take that one, just in case opossums have some homing ability. And if the opossums stay gone, the spiders can just eat annoying yap-yap dogs and whitetail deer. No downside.

I try not to be that familiar with the hunting skills and eating habits of spiders... but you can have all the giant big ones regardless!! :D

Woah woah woah. What’s with the opossum hate? They’re amazing little critters. They eat ticks so they keep tick populations down and stop the spread of Lyme disease. They’re constantly cleaning themselves and that renders them odorless. They have amazing immune systems and so they don’t get rabies, and can’t spread rabies. Their cute little babies use their tails to hang from trees. They’re the only marsupial north of Mexico! Their eyes look creepy but it’s only to help them see in the dark because they’re nocturnal. They’re also scavengers and so they clean up all kinds of dead animals so we don’t have to deal with them. They’re the night shift cleaning crew.

They’re so sweet. They only hiss and give off a stinky odor when they’re scared. Even then, they clean themselves after and the smell goes away. I can’t believe anyone would hate these little guys.

I had no idea. People would probably hate opossums less if this was common knowledge.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Loads of girls got super into opossums after 'Twilight' came out. 'Oh, I wish I was Bella, so that Edward Cullen could bite me and turn me into an opossum. Then we could get married and live in a golden castle and ride unicorns and kiss with tongues. Mwah mwah mwah.' 'You're crazy! Everyone knows Jacob is better! He's a koala! He's soooo kawaii! Mwah mwah mwah!' Pfffft.

Actually, I’ve just done a lot of kid field trips in the past. There’s an animal conservation place that comes in and talks about some of the animals they’ve saved. They bring in the animals too. I’ve seen their presentations about 4 times. They have two opossums, but they also have owls, armadillos, porcupines, gators, emus, snakes, parrots, vultures, and kangaroos. So I know a lot about those animals too.

...send Yunn-eating spiders instead. Yunn's hissier and stinkier than any opossum.

It’s true, I’d make that trade if I were you. I’ll switch myself for the big spiders.
