That water though.
I seriously wish I could mod my Playstation version to look like that. For some reason I just can not get into Minecraft on my computer.
For me, one of the restrictions is screenspace. My 4:3 monitor is not conduscive to playing, but anything widescreen or higher or my projector is a solid experience. On PC you tend to need a higher FOV setting, though. You might enjoy it more between 85 and 90 degrees instead of the default.

Yeah, I feel you on that. I stream to my bed, etc, when I want to. It's not good to be stuck in one position. My chair cost as much as a console, anyway. There's nothing to brag about in that.

Personally, I just think it's easier to play Minecraft from a PC. Like, controls-wise (although that could possibly be because that's how I started playing??). Plus, there's the whole modding potential, which if I'm not mistaken is far more advanced on the PC version than any of the console versions.
Do you know how much you mean to me
Why must you leave~?

Yeah, there's no question of whether or not a mouse provides more fidelity in control. I like the Wii Remote as a sort of compromise between the two, and I've experimented with syncing mine to my pc for play. It's not too bad the way I've had it setup but it is a bit undependable for things like climbing absurd heights as I tend to. I need it to have non-1:1 controls past a certain point, like Metroid: Prime 3 does where it shifts to relative binary once you've aimed outside a certain radius.

Microsoft's E3 conference had a Minecraft appearance, with their AR tech Hololens. It looks pretty cool overall -I'm not sure what purpose it could serve for Minecraft, but I am seeing really cool potential applications for an in-engine RTS or similar game:

^Geez, that was pretty badass.
Also, finished up with the End Dragon and Wither last night. Got all the achievements as well so I think I'm good. Here's my base by the end of it.

So I keep seeing weird things on the net. An article claimed, and showed video of a guy who made a working GBA in Minecraft, and GameTheory mentioned someone who created a working cell phone.
So I'm missing something, right? That isn't possible. Shouldn't be at least. It's like if I drew an NES in MS Paint and it worked or something...
Anyone care to explain?

The Minecraft file format has been thoroughly reverse-engineered. Redstone exists, and its behaviours to form all the basic types of logic gates and basic memory cells (through bugs in some cases) is also known.
Therefore people can write code-to-Minecraft-map converters, generating a working ... whatever.
There's also mods of course, and plugging in a Java emulator or something that calls Skype is another way.

Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?
