Oh yeah. Probably about 30-40% of the people I've seen express an opinion, whether online or off, said it had "no story". Granted, that includes YouTube comments, but still.

I mean, I guess it has no story if you skip all the cutscenes. That is technically not incorrect if you're really determined to have it be true.

Why would you skip the cutscenes though when you have Diddy sniping **** with his peanut guns, Yoshi looking drunk in literally every epic squad still, Captain Falcon being extra, Peach having a tea party on an exploding warship entering the void, and copious amounts of PK THUNDAAAA?????
