PARASOL

Source: Kirby series
Featured in: Melee
Type: Battering
Special effect: Slows your fall.

Trivia:
--To drop normally while holding a Parasol, tap down as Peach would.
--In fact, during Peach Parasol, this item will replace Peach's normal one.
--Throws very far up or down (& drifts to the ground afterwards), but terribly left or right ('cause the umbrella opens).
--Does damage when open, so it can actually provide a shield against attacks from above.

I'm kinda surprised this one never came back, actually.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

It overlaps with Peach's ability? Or it's too normal? I don't know.

It stacks onto her jump hovering, but does not enhance her Up-B, simply changes how it looks.

I didn't mean it like that.

Not that it matters since the Raccoon Tail is basically Peach's hover jump anyway.

Probably cause of how powerful of a recovery item it was. Brawl was already highly defensive and knocking characters out was tough enough as is. Add thing and you'd barely be able to KO anyone for a far longer time.

Great item, though.
What's the matter, scared?

Oh my God you're right. There's no more parasol! How did I not notice?!

Actually probably because the last time I played with items was like a bajillion years ago.
