There's a second cutscene after the first world, a third after the second world, & then one for each of the 3 endings. Six total.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

So I'm down to Dr. Wily, Geno, and Galeem in the light world. I am starting to think the attempts I'm putting into the Geno fight are making me a worse player in general. Kind of a "home run derby" effect.

^I'm trying to remember what I did when fighting Geno. It was either FS Blocker or First-Strike Advantage, with either Weapon Attack Up or Metal Box. Either way, I was able to knock out everyone else before Sheik showed up.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

My general strategy whenever I get really stuck on a level is to use the spirit that lets you start with the Ore Club. That weapon is exceptionally broken for WoL, in my opinion.

Got it on my second try today by switching my primary to resolute form Keldo and adding Slippy's made of metal.

I think I've played enough to give my thoughts on the game now. I like it but I think I prefer SSB4 a bit. I can't describe it but the physics feel different overall. Biggest issue is the dodge-roll's nerf, I don't like it and hope it goes the way of tripping. I do like how several of the new characters play though, for the first time I'm actually tempted to switch up my characters from my Melee selections. Ridley and King K Rool are great, but the Castlevania guys are interesting too.

The online structure is a mess, they had it right in SSB4 where you select For Glory or For Fun, not sure why they always need to screw something up. I do like the way the arenas are setup though, with the ring, little chips and the stands. I'd have liked a better opening cinematic, but none have matched Melee's and so I didn't expect this one to. Some of my favorite things are missing, like Trophies, so I think "Ultimate" as a name is selling itself too high.

I think the DLC characters will be what decides if I like it as much as SSB4 or not. So far, not really interested. Piranha Plant and Joker aren't interesting to me, but the leaked DLC sounds good, if it turns out to be true.

^People wanted something in-between "anything goes" & "zero fun sir"; that's why it's not just For Glory/For Fun anymore.

^ Couldn't they just have a third option that acts how it works now and leave those other two in, then...?

Not a fan of this marathon last fight in adventure mode.

There's never such thing as "one more game" in Smash. I told myself I'd stop playing online like three hours ago. It's almost 2 AM now.

Does that mean there’s never such a thing as “one more game,” or that there’s always such a thing as “one more game”?

I've finally gotten around to starting the Dark Realm, & I've already totally cleared everything at the map level. Those paths are very linear. I'll start working on the dungeons soon.

I've cleared all the adventure mode short of the marathon final battle.

Giga Mac forced me to switch to Bowser. Down special spamming on the ropes served me well.

Update: Just cleared the final boss. Not gonna lie, I thought it was pretty hard. Good timing too, because my USB 3 to ethernet adapter should come in tomorrow and I can start messing with online play.

Seems I need to get the bad endings to get 100% Completion and the Lucina challenge. And I guess there's a new game+. Not sure I'm in a hurry for that.

I started playing online today. I had some sick games with Samus and one of the most unfair victories in history with Link and then things went south with Mega Man, lol. Not a fan of how GSP is shared between Classic Mode and online and I guess I should go to Arenas for some real practice.

I spent longer on the Sacred Realm than the entire map level of the Dark Realm. Looks like world 2 here is the exact inverse of world 1; instead of a long map with short dungeons, it's a short map with long dungeons.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"
