Stage of the Month #71: The Magic Conch Shell Has Spoken

Post by CaptHayfever » Sun Oct 15, 2017 12:35 am

WINDY HILL ZONE

Source: Sonic series
Appears in: Smash 4 WiiU
Home character: Sonic

Availability: Starter
Type: Sedimentary
Hazards: Windmill, Springs

Music:
"Windy Hill Zone 1"
"Wonder World"
"Green Hill Zone"
"Angel Island Zone"
"Rooftop Run"
"Escape from the City"
"Knight of the Wind"
"His World (Instrumental)"
"Reach for the Stars"
"Right There, Ride On"
"Open Your Heart"
"Live & Learn"
"Sonic Heroes"
"Seven Rings in Hand"

Trivia:
--Has the same curved gravity as Mario Galaxy, but this time with edges. This makes sense, as the level design in Sonic Lost World was blatantly based on Super Mario Galaxy.
--The springs rotate from time to time, so don't rely on them to bounce you towards the stage.

I think I speak for everyone when I say "Tails, what the hell is 'The Lost Hex'?"

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Man, it's been ages since I've played Smash 4. I don't remember this stage at all.

In fact, I'll bet you're just making all of this up. :crossedarms:
