I thought it looked pretty rough, but I was hoping Platinum would make it work. It's unfortunate and I hope they can get more work soon.

They should stick to making generic licensed action games.

Eh, I'm not the biggest fan, but Bayonetta is pretty good by most accounts, Vanquish was fantastic, and Nier: Automata should be great if the demo was anything to go by. They do more than licensed games.

No particular opinion on Scalebound since I don't own a One and MS said it wasn't coming to PC. Hadn't even seen a screenshot until that article.

Korra, Transformers and TMNT are their only licensed games. Transformers is really good, the other two are definitely not.

Those are their only licensed games with non-video game origins. They ruined a Metal Gear and Star Fox, they're pretty sinful in my eyes. They should only be allowed to work on new IP and their own games, I don't want to see them drag more franchises through the mud.

MGR is great though, especially considering it was made in a few months to replace what was essentially a vaporware title. Zero I'm not sure about, but that was co-developed with Nintendo which meant the latter was behind some of the more controversial decisions. (the controls, being a remake of 64)

MGR is pretty bad. It shouldn't even pretend to be stealthy, and the story is boring. It's good enough at hacking and slashing which is the core gameplay anyway, so credit where credit is due. It just sucks to see what it is compared to what it was supposed to be (the worst part is the censorship which I guess isn't their fault).

Good points on Star Fox Zero.

That could have been an exciting game. Unfortunately, it's hard for me to get excited about it when I don't have an Xbox One nor do I play games on PC.

My only possible future justification to get an XBO just disappeared.

The demo fights looked slow and rough - perhaps the game just didn't have a hope of becoming fun.

Not like I was ever getting an Xbone but that's a real shame regardless. Games getting canceled is never good.
