By this I mean do you set your 360 up so that it's laying horizontally or vertically usually? and which in your case is better or worse for ventilation your experience?

I don't own an Xbox, but I keep my PS2 flat and my Wii standing up. I find that those are the best positions for ventilation.

Flat. Although, I really need to find a better spot to put it. One of these days, it's gonna really overheat.

I have it laying horizontally. It's the only way that it will fit into my little entertainment center.

Vertical. It's a good thing that's an opition, actually---otherwise there'd be no room for it in the entertainment center (hell, as it is, my PS3 has to sit on top of the unit next to the television---I was worried its perch was unstable, so I tied it to the TV to make sure it wouldn't fall off).

No idea which way is better for ventilation.
