Best platform for pokemon?

Post by Artemis008 » Sun Aug 13, 2017 1:53 pm

Which platform did the best with Pokemon?
GBC had GSC and could play the GB games.

GBA had RSE and the gen 1 remakes.

DS had DPP, B&W, B&W2, and the gen 2 remakes, you could play the GBA games.

3DS has X&Y, ORAS, S&M, and soon to be Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. You can also play all the ds games.

I think 3DS is the clear winner, but still want your opinions. Which platform is the best for Pokemon?

The GBA can play GB/GBC games as well. I've got a copy of the original Link's Awakening that somehow still saves in mine right now.

It's still a clear 3DS victory, though, since you can play every current generation on it using at least one of physical carts, remakes, or downloads.

Yeah, but you can't transfer from gen II to gen III so it's pointless in the context of this thread.

DS seems like the obvious winner to me.
