VGB: Nintendo Characters Height & Weight

Ever wonder how tall Mario is? Do you think Link looks a little on the short side, or do you think he would tower over you? How much does Donkey Kong freaking weigh? Well, I aim to answer some of your height- and weight-based questions about Nintendo characters using official and mostly-official statistics. Here we go!
  • This poster for a Nintendo-approved statue claims it to be "life-sized", thus putting Mario's height at 155 cm (5'1"). Using that information along with this universal size chart, it's possible to estimate the height of all of the mainstays of the franchise. From shortest to tallest: a Goomba is 72 cm (2'4"); a Boo is 79 cm (2'7"); Baby Mario is 89 cm (2'11"); Baby Luigi is 90 cm (2'11"); a Shy Guy is 100 cm (3'3"); Toad, Toadette, and Toadsworth are 103 cm (3'5"); Diddy and Dixie Kong (on their knuckles) are 113 cm (3'8"); a Koopa Troopa is 120 cm (3'11"); a Dry Bones is 124 cm (4'1"); Bowser Jr. is 131 cm (4'4"); a Hammer Bro. is 142 cm (4'8"); a Bullet Bill is 148 cm (4'10") long and 96 cm (3'2") in diameter; a Wiggler is 159 cm (5'3") tall (not including the flower) and who knows how long; Wario and Birdo are 170 cm (5'7") (Birdo is 196 cm [6'5"] if you include her bow); Luigi and Yoshi are 175 cm (5'9"); Lakitu (including cloud) is 179 cm (5'10"); Daisy is 180 cm (5'11"); Donkey Kong (on his knuckles) and Peach (!!) are 186 cm (6'1"); Waluigi (with his knees bent a bit) is 216 cm (7'1"); Bowser is 262 cm (8'7"); and Petey Piranha is a whopping 389 cm (12'9"). Normal Piranha Plants seem to vary in height depending on how long their bodies are, but the diameter of their heads is about 111 cm (3'8").
  • During the final battle in DK64, Donkey Kong's weight is given as 800 lbs (363 kg), while Chunky Kong's weight is 2000 lbs (907 kg) (at normal size, even).
  • According to the Wario World instruction manual, Wario weighs 308 lbs (140 kg).
  • According to Hyrule Historia, Ganondorf is 230 cm (7'6") tall in OoT. His 1/4 scale model from First 4 Figures, who used in game data to faithfully recreate his appearance in TP, stands at 23 inches tall (including base), which indicates that he stands about 230 cm in that game as well.
  • The scale in the water tank of the Lakeside Laboratory in OoT seems to suggest Link is just over 150 cm (4'11"). But to be fair, the scale isn't labeled at all, so it could be in "Hylian feet" or something. Judging from these models captured by a member of the Zelda Dungeon forum, it seems Ganondorf is roughly 1.26x the height of Link in TP, which means Link would be about 180 cm (5'11") in TP.
  • The First 4 Figures 1/4 scale model of Zant is about 21 inches tall (including base), meaning Zant must be around 210 cm (6'11"), including his creepy helmet. Yeah, he's pretty tall.
  • The Metroid II manual gives Samus Aran's height without her suit as 190 cm (6'3") and weight as 90 kg (198 lbs). However, the 1/8 scale model by Max Factory (based off of Other M) suggests Samus's height without her suit is about 176 cm (5'9"). Perhaps her size was retconned? She doesn't look very tall outside her suit compared to other characters in Other M, unless everyone else in the Galactic Federation Army is a giant. I'm not able to compare in-game models from the Prime trilogy or Other M, but it doesn't look like the Power Suit adds a lot of extra height to Samus. Going off of the ending graphics from Super Metroid, it looks like Samus's height in her Power Suit would be about 193 cm (6'4") based on MII's number, or 179 cm (5'10") based on MOM's number. Scanning Morph Ball-compatible tunnels in Metroid Prime shows the Morph Ball can be no larger than 1 meter (3') in diameter. This guy estimates it to be about 75.85 cm (2'6") in diameter.
  • A hologram of the Queen Metroid encountered in Other M gives the creature's height as 6 meters (19'8") and length as 11 meters (36'1").
  • According to the Metroid Prime website, Samus's gunship (the one used in the first Prime game as well as Hunters) 9.144 x 6.096 x 2.4384 meters (30' x 20' x 8') in size, and weighs 136 tons. Yeah, the ship isn't a character, but who cares.
  • Wikitroid gives Anthony Higgs's height as friggin' 210 cm (6'11"), though it doesn't say where that figure comes from.
  • Kirby is a mere 20 cm (8") tall, and his weight is "unknown". Presumably, this means every other character in the series is tiny as well. By comparing the sizes of Kirby Super Star sprites, you can make a few estimates. For example, Kirby's diameter balloons to about 27 cm (11") when he's full (of air, or an enemy). King Dedede is about 39 cm (1'3") tall, while Meta Knight is the same height as Kirby. Wispy Woods is a mere sapling at 229 cm (7'6").
  • There's no need to guess how large or how heavy any Pokemon is, since that data is displayed in their Pokedex entries. Pikachu, for example, stands 40 cm (1'4") tall and weighs 6 kg (13.2 lbs).
  • Promotional cards released by Nintendo Power for Star Fox 64 gives the height and weight of the Star Fox team: Fox is 173 cm (5'8") tall and weighs 70.31 kg (155 lbs), Falco is 188 cm (6'2") tall and weighs 74.84 kg (165 lbs), Slippy is 167 cm (5'6") tall and weighs 60.5 kg (140 lbs), and old Peppy is 170 cm (5'7") tall and weighs 71.03 kg (156.6 lbs). The Star Fox Wiki has the heights of several other characters listed, though I can't seem to find out what the source is. Nevertheless: General Pepper is 191 cm (6'3"), Krystal is 172.72 cm (5'8"), Dash Bowman is 170 cm (5'7"), and Wolf is "approximately" 188 cm (6'2")
  • The Japanese Encyclopedia Mother, a guide for Mother AKA EarthBound Zero, gives the height and weight of all four main characters. Ninten is 152 cm (5') tall and weighs 42 kg (92.6 lbs), Lloyd is 149 cm (4'11") tall and weighs 40 kg (88.2 lbs), Ana is 143 cm (4'8") tall and weighs 36 kg (79.4 lbs), and Teddy is 188 cm (6'2") tall and weighs 78 kg (172 lbs). I can't find any measurements for EarthBound or Mother 3, though it would be fair to assume Ninten, Ness and Lucas are all around the same height and weight.
  • And you thought Kirby was puny. Captain Olimar is 1.9 cm (0.75") tall and weighs about 1 "unit". Captain Louie stands 2.1 cm (0.83") tall and weighs about the same. The height of many of the enemies in the series is also given on e-Reader cards. For those details, check out the Pikmin wiki.
  • Starfy, the starfish protagonist of his own series, is 36 cm (1'2") tall.
If you know of any other height or weight statistics, share them. Maybe it'll be possible to make a universal size chart.

But how tall is Peppy if you count his ears?

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

Time for some ships.
  • By comparing sprites of Samus and her ships, we can estimate their dimensions. The estimates here are based off of Samus's height given by the MII manual.
    - Zero Mission Gunship: 3.96 meters wide (body), 11.48 meters wide (+wings), 7.72 meters long (body), 10.57 meters long (+wings), 2.7 meters tall (body)
    - Metroid II Gunship: 10.19 meters wide, 8.58 meters long*, 3.86 meters tall
    - Super Metroid Gunship: 7.56 meters wide, 7.16 meters long*, 3.22 meters tall
    - Metroid Fusion Ending Gunship: 7.72 meters wide (body), 10.29 meters wide (+wings), 3.16 meters tall (body), 5.41 meters tall (+wings)
    * Samus's gunship is never shown from the side in MII or SM. It is shown from the side in the opening cinematic of Fusion, however, and since these three ships are all believed to be one and the same, I can use the ratio of the ship's length to its height in MF to work out how long the ship might be in MII and SM.
  • According to Star Fox 64 schematics, the Arwing MK-1 is 18.5 "space meters" long and 5.5 tall. Assuming "space meters" are the same as our meters, that would make the Arwing just over 60 feet long (about one-and-a-half times as long as a school bus) and 18 feet tall (about twice the height of a school bus). Other schematics list the dimensions of the Landmaster as 17.5 sm (57'5"?) in length and 8.5 sm (27'11"?) in height (about twice as long and three times as tall as an M1 Abrams tank), and the Blue-Marine as 16.5 sm (54'2"?) in length and 7 sm (23'?) in height (a believable size for a midget submarine). The blueprints from the original Star Fox give dimensions of 28 sm (91'10"?) by 5.5 sm (18'1"?). Presumably, space meters don't equate to meter meters. The Star Fox wiki gives the Great Fox a height of 2919.9 ft (890 meters) and a width of 1230.3 ft (375 meters), though I can't find a source and it looks like they mixed up the dimensions anyway.
  • There are no official numbers for Olimar's ships, but with his height of 1.9 cm known it's possible to estimate their sizes. The S.S. Dolphin from the first game appears to be about 18 cm (7") tall from base to the very tip, roughly 8.8 cm (3.5") in diameter at its widest on the body, and around 10 cm (3.9") in diameter including the fins. The Hocotate Ship from Pikmin 2 is about 21 cm (8.3") tall from base to tip, 9 cm (3.5") in diameter at the widest point of the body, and 13.5 cm (5.3") in diameter including the fins. Keep in mind, these estimates are very rough.

I've got some more for you guys.
  • This picture, which you receive after getting all 121 stars in Super Mario Galaxy as Luigi, shows Green Mustache standing next to Rosalina. Convenient, no? Since we already deduced Luigi's height (175 cm, or 5'9"), I can estimate Rosalina's height. Ignoring her crown, Rosalina seems to be about 200 cm (6'7") tall. Maybe that's why she's a heavy-class racer in the Mario Kart games?
  • Similarly, we know Donkey Kong is around 186 cm (6'1") tall on his knuckles. If we compare his sprites to those of King K. Rool, we find the reptilian ruler stands about 352 cm (11'7") tall in Donkey Kong Country (431 cm [14'2"] including his crown), and 301 cm (9'11") tall in King of Swing (308 cm [10'1"] including his crown).
  • Compared to Mario's 155 cm (5'1"), Reznors are about 183 cm (6') tall in Super Mario World, and 207 cm (6'9") tall in New Super Mario Bros. 2.
  • This one was fun to figure out, though keep in mind these estimates are quite rough. [strike]Mario's Faceship[/strike] Starship Mario is somewhere in the area of 40 meters (131') tall from base to helm, 34 meters (112') wide from ear to ear, and 33 meters (108') long from the brim of the cap to the back.
  • According to the Pokedex in Pokemon D/P/P, the male trainer is 143 cm (4'8") tall and weighs 38 kg (83.9 lbs), while the female is 140 cm (4'6") tall and weighs 34 kg (75 lbs). The male trainer in HG/HS is 150 cm (4'11") tall and weighs 40 kg (88.2 lbs), and the female is 152 cm (4'11") and weighs 41 kg (90.4 lbs).
  • Comparing Samus's sprites to the sprites of other enemies and objects gives us the following numbers (again, using Samus's MII height):
    - Zebesian pirates are 217 cm (7'1") tall in Zero Mission, 205 cm (6'9") tall in Super Metroid, and 263 cm (8'8") tall in Fusion.
    - Metroids are about 150 cm (4'11") tall from tip to tooth and 153 (5') cm in diameter in Zero Mission, 141 cm (4'8") tall and 153 cm (5') in diameter in Super Metroid, and 160 cm (5'3") tall and 155 cm (5'1") in diameter in Fusion. Larval Metroids (including THE BABY) are 56 cm (1'10") in diameter in SM and 85 cm (2'9") in diameter in MF, while THE BABY (full-grown) is about 338 cm (11'1") tall and 314 cm (10'4") in diameter in SM. Via the Restricted Lab in Fusion, Alpha Metroids are 172 cm (5'8") in diameter, Gamma Metroids are 193 cm (6'4") tall (279 cm [9'2"] if you include their legs), and Zeta Metroids are 311 cm (10'2") tall. The Omega Metroid stands 558 cm (18'4") tall in Fusion.
    - The [strike]goofy sperm ship[/strike] Space Pirate fighter from Zero Mission is 9.4 meters (30'10") long, 2.12 meters (6'11") tall, and 1.63 meters (5'4") wide.
    - Mighty Kraid is 11.29 meters (37') tall in Zero Mission, and 12.18 meters (40') in Super Metroid.
    - Mother Brain's massive head is about 3.67 meters (12') tall in Zero Mission, and 2.29 meters (7'6") tall in Super Metroid. Her mecha-Tyrannosaurus body in SM gives her a height of 6.84 meters (22'5")
    - Crocomire is about 4.54 meters (14'11") tall (and its arms are around 4.22 meters (13'10") long from shoulder to claw).
    - Draygon's body is about 6.55 meters (21'6") long. Since her sprite is tilted down at about a 45° angle in-game, I had to rotate it to measure the length.
    - Phantoon is about 4.5 meters (14'9") tall in Super Metroid. Who knows how much bigger he is in Other M.
    - It's difficult to determine how tall Ridley is, since in the 2D games he's always hunched over. Squatting like he normally does, Ridley is about 4.78 meters (15'8") tall in Zero Mission, and 3.62 meters (11'10") tall in Super Metroid. If I cheat a little in Photoshop and unbend his knees so he's standing straight (as we see him do in the 3D games), his height rises to about 5.31 meters (17'5") in ZM, and 5.11 meters (16'9") in SM.
  • Most robos in the Custom Robo series are pretty small. The original Ray stands 20 cm (8") tall, and is about 8 cm (3") wide from side to side and 5 cm (2") wide from front to back. Anne from CRV2 is about 23 cm (9") by 10 cm (4") by 3 cm (1"). In Custom Robo Arena the height and weight of many of the game's human characters are also given. Liv, the hero's support, is about 160 cm (5'3") tall and weighs about 51 kg (112 lbs). Recurring character Marv is 157 cm (5'2") tall and weighs 90 kg (198 lbs).
  • All fighters in the Punch-Out!! series are given a height and weight (well, except King Hippo). Little Mac is 142 cm (4'8") according to the original Punch-Out!!, and 170 cm (5'7") according to the Wii game.
  • Chibi-Robo is 10 cm (4") tall. Chibi!
  • Official guidebooks give the heights of numerous Ace Attorney characters. Phoenix Wright himself stands 176 cm (5'9") tall. Maya Fey is 154 cm (5'1"), Miles Edgeworth is 178 cm (5'10"), Franziska von Karma is 162 cm (5'4"), Dick Gumshoe is 182 cm (6'), Mia Fey is (was?) 168 cm (5'6"), Godot is 185 cm (6'1"), Winston Payne is 164 cm (5'4"), and the Judge is 170 cm (5'7"), to give just a few examples.
  • If Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney is anything to go by, Professor Layton must be about 176 cm (5'9") tall with his hat, or 155 cm (5'1") without. Luke then would be about 109 cm (3'7"). You could just chalk it up to the art style, though.
I really wish I had a program I could use to compare character models from Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess (or other games, even), but for now it seems like that will have to wait.

And once again, if anyone has any extra information to add or any objections to some of the numbers I've given, pipe up please.

Finally, I am going to attempt to make a size chart:

Image

Uhh, that's all I've done so far. As you can see the chart goes up to 12 meters, which is around Kraid's height. I intend to include only actual characters in this chart, but I might make a separate one later for ships and such.

Cheers!

I've got a few more things for you all.
  • Concept art for Pikmin 3 shows that Pikmin stand 13 mm (0.5") tall, not including the stem (were it included, the Pikmin's height would be around 27 mm [1.1"]). Comparing a Pikmin to Olimar shows that his given height of 19 mm must include his helmet (but not the antenna).
  • There is this size chart, for those of you who were wondering how tall whatever character from Chibi-Robo! may be.
  • Sprites from Kirby: Mass Attack seem to suggest King Dedede is 54 cm (1'9") (compared to the previous KSS estimate of 39 cm [1'3"]), and Meta Knight is 22 cm (9") (compared to 20 cm [8"]).
  • Since the camera is always the same when a player is up to bat (you can see for yourself by cycling through the images), it's possible to compare the height of the characters. Using characters like Luigi (175 cm), Peach (186 cm), and Toad (103 cm), I can work out a scale to measure the height of other characters with a margin of error of around 5 cm, it seems.
    - A Pianta is around 220 cm (7'3") tall to the tip of its palm.
    - A Noki is maybe 140 cm (4'7") tall, though it's difficult to determine from that image.
    - Funky Kong is about 190 cm (6'3") tall. You can't see his feet in this picture, but using images of other batters it's possible to determine where they probably are.
    - Tiny Kong is around 165 cm (5'5") tall. She hasn't been very tiny since DK64.
    - King K. Rool is about 210 cm (6'11") tall, compared to my previous estimates of 352 cm for DKC and 301 cm for King of Swing. It's possible he was scaled down for this game, like Bowser and Petey.
    - A Kritter (hunched over slightly, as usual) appears to be about 175 cm (5'9") tall.
    - A Magikoopa appears to be around 180 cm (5'10") tall. Without their hats, it seems they'd be about 120 cm tall, the height of a regular Koopa Troopa.
And here's how far I've gotten with the size chart. (Click to embiggen.)

Image

The only characters I've done so far are the ones whose given height comes from an official source. I'll probably rearrange the characters a bit as more get added in (it'll get pretty crowded in there). Let me know what you think of it so far, and again if you happen to know any heights I missed, give them to me.

I haven't forgotten about this thread yet, nosiree. I've just been distracted by other things, like work and Doom. But in the meantime, here's a little something from Hyrule Historia:

Image

It's a height comparison chart featuring characters from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (plus a few Mario characters). There's no metric on the chart, but if we know the height of at least one character we could determine the heights of the rest of them. There is the semi-official height given for Mario above, but it seems rather generous and gives other characters gargantuan heights when used as a reference. So, I won't take any estimates based off of Mario's supposed height very serious, but I'll include them anyway just for the funk of it. The ratios of the characters' height to Mario's will be useful in any case. Here they are, from shortest to tallest:

Ganon
2.34
363 cm (11'11")
The proportions of Goomba, Luigi and Peach to Mario are in the ballpark compared to the ones suggested by the size chart in the OP (0.39 vs 0.46 for Goomba, 1.13 vs 1.21 for Luigi, and 1.21 vs 1.20 for Peach). But obviously 155 cm simply won't do for Mario, unless we are to assume the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule just have much lighter gravity than Earth (though that would explain a few things).

I know it specifically says that sketch is for LttP, but if you were to generalize, there are some significant variables in the LoZ heights: There are 10 Links & Zeldas, & Ganon changes size in different manifestations (the OoT version was bigger than a house)--though at least G-dorf stays consistent as a man.

And remember, "I'm-a Luigi, number one!"

I discovered a thread on The Fwoosh (an action figure forum) recently that conveniently discusses the height of video game characters. The main point of discussion is a Figma figure of Samus from Other M. It stands a bit under 15.5 cm tall and is 1/12 scale, which would give Samus (in her suit) a height of around six feet, which is consistent with the height given by her 1/8 scale suitless figure (176 cm (5'9"), as described in the OP). But also of interest is the presence of a 1/12 scale Mario figure that stands about 12 cm tall. That would make Mario's actual height 144 cm (4'9"), which is 11 cm (4") shorter than the height given by the life-sized statue mentioned in the OP. Having a shorter Mario would resolve my "giant Mario characters" problem, but is 144 cm short enough?

Character
Mario is 155 cm tall
Mario is 144 cm tall

Mario
155 cm (5'1")
144 cm (4'9")

Luigi
175 (5'9")
163 (5'4")

Peach
186 cm (6'1")
173 cm (5'8")

Link (ALttP)
203 cm (6'8")
189 cm (6'2")

Sahasrahla
219 cm (7'2")
203 cm (6'8")
So we don't have 6'1" Peach anymore, which is good. But comparing Mario characters to characters from A Link to the Past as in my last post still produces some ridiculous numbers. I suppose this means [strike]Nintendo doesn't really give a damn about keeping heights consistent and my entire height-measuring enterprise is a folly[/strike] I MUST ENDEAVOR ON.

In other news, it's been brought to my attention that Pit from Kid Icarus now has his own Figma figure. The height of the figure is 12 cm, so if the figure is 1/12 scale that would make Pit 144 cm (4'9") tall. Link from Skyward Sword has a Figma too, which is 14 cm tall. Assuming 1/12 scale, that would make Link 168 cm (5'6") tall. These are mere assumptions, keep in mind. I can't find anything specifying these figures are 1/12 scale, although that is a very common size for Figma figures, and it seems more likely than 1/8 scale.

You've been busy, Val.
No clue how I missed this topic up until now, but you've done an awesome job.
Thumbs up.

I hope you guys are hungry, because I've prepared an ambrosial feast for you.

With the help of Blender and The Models Resource, I've been able to compare the sizes of most of the characters and creatures from Metroid: Other M. And since we know the height of Samus (sort of, see below), it's possible to determine the height, length, girth and whatever else of any other entity in the game.

One problem when comparing model rips from video games is that they aren't always the same size that they are in the final version of the game. Sometimes the in-game are scaled-up or -down versions of the original model. For example, I tried comparing models from Ocarina of Time not too long ago. Many seem to be of the proper proportion to one another, yet there are some that were clearly meant to be scaled differently in-game (for example, Nabooru's model is about crotch-height to adult Link, while Saria's model is utterly colossal). I can't just guess how much the model needs to be scaled, so without additional data from the game I can't compare those sorts of models. Luckily, in the case of Other M, all of the models appear to retain their in-game proportions. Thus, I can compare the length of a Geemer's leg to the diameter of Phantoon's eye and be confident that the size ratio is the same as it would be in-game. If you want to contest this, however, be my guest. Above all I desire accuracy.

I've organized all the numbers into the table below. Most of the game's major characters and creatures are there, though I had to skip over a few models that were too problematic for me. I might revisit them later on. For Samus's height outside her suit, I'm going off of two figures. The higher number (190 cm, or 6'3") is based off of the Metroid II manual. The lower number (176 cm, or 5'9") is based off of her 1/8 scale Max Factory figurine, which itself is based off of Other M.

All figures, unless stated otherwise, indicate height. Note that for almost all bipedal creatures the height was measured with them standing straight, meaning creatures that normally slouch or stand with their knees bent may appear shorter than the numbers given here. "Length" here means front to back, while "width" means from one side to the other.

* Samus (Zero Suit), MB and Madeline all have raised heels in their shoes. Without those heels, their height would be reduced by 3-6 cm (1-2").
** In their suits, of course. (Though Adam's model has him without his helmet.)
† The heights given for the Baristute, Dessgeega, and Sidehoppers are a bit approximate due to the way their models were arranged.
‡ Height included legs. Magdollites do have legs, though you never actually see them in game.
§ Body length does not include legs.
¶ How tall the Mystery Creature would be if it were to stand up staight on its hind legs.

A few notes:
  • I used Samus's height from two different sources, though even before this I was getting the feeling the older height given for Samus has been retconned away. Samus is clearly shorter than most people in Other M, and even in her Power Suit she isn't towering over anyone. Unless we assume everyone is a giant in the future, Samus being 5'9" seems much more realistic than 6'3". (Even then, the other human characters seem exceptionally tall, though some of that height is likely due to their suits/heels.)
  • A lot of the sizes here seem too large for the creatures they're describing, or at least that's how I felt. I mean, those tiny little Mellas have wingspans larger than the typical adult male? Though the more I examine things, the more I've noticed how I (subconsciously, it seems) underestimate the size of creatures in this game. (And maybe others?) Most of the foes Samus fights are bigger than her, and that's not even including the multi-storey bosses. With all those giant aliens populating her rogue's gallery, an enemy that's "only" the size of a dishwasher would be a small enemy. It's also easy to forget that the tiny character you're controlling is over six feet tall (in her armor, that is). Keeping all that in mind, you realize even the tiny little Mellas are actually enormous.
  • Phantoon has clearly given Kraid a run for his money (over 70 meters tall, compared to my estimate of about 12.18 meters for Kraid in Zero Mission). Even Goyagma is almost twice as tall as Kraid.
  • As noted in the OP, a hologram shown in the game gives the Queen Metroid's length as 11 meters and height as 6 meters. However, comparing the models in game puts the Queen closer to 23 meters in length and 11 meters in height. I'm not sure why there's such a disparity, though I'm confident in my numbers. Here is a size comparison of the models for Samus and the Queen Metroid in Blender (the view is orthographic, so there is no distortion in size). The size difference seems consistent with the in-game appearance to me, but I'll let you be the judge. Perhaps Project M just threw random numbers into that hologram, assuming nobody would be bored or crazy enough to compare the model sizes himself and prove the numbers wrong?
I hope this is useful somehow. If anything seems off, let me know (I'm still not 100% convinced Phantoon is that big). Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go take a nap.

whoa, this thread is great! It pissed me off so much to see how feminized samus became in other M, including shrinking to a size much more expected of a female. The figma model of her pretty much threw out the argument that all the galactic fed soldiers were giants, shrinking her down to an unremarkable 5'9" in some pretty high heels. Taking away that heel height, she's probably been dwarfed to a pathetic 5'6" or even 5'5".

BTW, that height chart has some really nice character art. do you think you can share the full size pic of samus? (it's pretty sexy)

Yeah, I was bummed about Samus's shrinkage too, but I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles. I almost forgot about this thread; if I run into any more interesting statistics I'll be sure to post them.

And since you asked so nicely:

I didn't put a whole lot of detail into the character art. I just wanted them to look good when I shrunk them down.

Thanks! I like the pose on it, and she'll stay at 6'3 in my mind.

^ In general, we discourage replying to/ bumping threads more than a couple months old (let alone a couple years), and encourage making new ones instead......... but in this case I am glad this thread resurfaced because it brought to my attention the fact that Mario is 5'1", according to the first post, therefore the "real life"-style people in Odyssey must be ten foot beasts.

The plot thickens.

Perhaps they measure things in spaghetti noodles in the Mushroom Kingdom.
